Uniform


Bright Academy has a fixed school uniform for all the classes except toddlers. The school uniform & other accessories are available with the Authorized School Outfitters.

Boys Uniform

  • Pink checked half sleeves shirt.
  • Pink Half Pant.
  • White socks with pink stripes.
  • Black School Shoes.

Girls Uniform

  • Pink checked half sleeves shirt.
  • Pink Skirt.
  • White socks with pink stripes.
  • Black School Shoes.

Winter Uniform: Apart from the school sweaters boys can wear full pink pants & girls can wear pink leggings.

Note: It is mandatory for all the students to be dressed in complete uniform with their ID cards when the class would be taken for field trips. 

Essentials for Students to be Carried Every day to School


  • Student ID Card.
  • Labeled school bag with proper textbooks, exercise books, school diary, etc.
  • Toddlers & Playgroup students should carry an extra set of clothes and inner wear.
  • Tiffin box & Water bottles must be labeled.

Things Not to Be Carried to School


  • Expensive and flashy items like fancy watches, jewellery, pens, etc. 
  • Electronic items like IPods, Cell phones, Discman/Walkman, PSP, Game boy, CDs, CD Players, Hand held video games, etc.
  • Toys, balls and sporting equipment.
  • Inappropriate books, magazines, cassettes, etc. with racist, communal or obscene literature or images.

Note: In the event that these items are found with the children, they will be confiscated and not returned under any circumstances.

Homework and Project Work Guidelines


Parents are expected to refer to the student’s diary and homework regularly to ensure that the homework are completed and submitted on time. Parents can assist the child with research and collaborative work, however the homework has to be completed by the child with least amount of assistance form adults. 

Behaviors and Ethics


  • All the students are responsible to the school authorities for their behaviours in and outside the school. Any indiscipline on the part of the student shall render him/her liable for disciplinary actions.      
  • Fighting, bullying, creating disturbances, denying use of facilities to others, acting in such a manner that creates risk of injury to others, using threats or intimidations against others, theft or any other unlawful activity will not be permitted.
  • Students must respect the property of others, along with keeping all books, facilities, equipment and other materials used in the school in good condition and refrain from damaging school property and property of others. No student should scratch or spoil the desks or chairs, school furniture or fixtures, curtains, etc, write or draw anything on the walls or in any way damage things belonging to others. A damage done has to be compensated by parents.
  • Care must be taken to keep the school clean at all times. Litter must be disposed off in the dustbins provided.

Disciplinary Policy


All the students are held responsible for their own behaviour. When a student at Bright Academy is found misbehaving repeatedly, parent may be called in to discuss the problem. If the student is found to be continuously misbehaving and showing aggressive behaviour which can disrupt the class environment, the parent may be asked to withdraw the child from the school.ivam_hr_style

Code of Conduct


  • Children are expected to come to the school on time i.e. 5 minutes before the school timing.
  • It is mandatory for students to attend the first and last day of the school (i.e. before and after every vacation).
  • For any other day of absence parents should submit a written explanation in the diary.
  • If sick leave is being mentioned and it for more than 3 days, the parents should submit a doctor’s certificate.
  • No half days or early leave for students will be permitted.
  • When a long-term absence is anticipated, parents should obtain written permission from the Principal.
  • No leave will be granted for family vacations, festivities, ceremonies, overseas trips, etc.
  • No assessments will be rescheduled or re-conducted to accommodate student’s absence.
  • Please be informed that on account of the irregularity of any child, it is the responsibility of the parents to collect the absent work from the concerned class/subject teachers.

Assessment System & Promotion Policy


The assessment system at Bright Academy is purely based upon continuous class observation and evaluation of the child. Final report card is issued at the end of the academic year.

A non-detention policy is favored in these classes unless detention at a particular level is advised by the class teacher.

A student not having a minimum of 80% attendance will not be promoted to the next class. Hence parents are requested to keep a track on the attendance of their wards, as intimated through the school diary.

The school does not have any provision of examinations for the Toddlers.

Duplicate report card will be issued on payment of INR 50/- 

Bright Academy uses grading system for promotion wherein pass marks is a minimum of 40%. ‘E’ grade is considered as fail.
